Ministries & Groups at Bethany United Methodist Church
At Bethany UMC, faith is more than Sunday worship. It’s about growing together, caring for one another, and serving our community.

Bible Studies & Prayer Groups

  • Disciple Class (Tuesdays) – A deep dive into Scripture, designed to help you grow in your faith and understanding of God’s Word.

  • Prayer Group (Wednesdays 10:00 AM) – Join us for a midweek time of prayer, lifting up the needs of our church, community, and world.

  • Bible Study (Wednesdays 11:00 AM) – Open to all, this group explores the Bible together in a welcoming, discussion-based setting.

  • Women’s LIFT Group (Wednesdays 6:30 PM) – A space for women to grow in fellowship, prayer, and Scripture study.

Fellowship & Service

  • Bethany United Methodist Men – This group strengthens fellowship among men in the church while serving through preparing meals for events and providing refreshments after Sunday worship.

Children & Youth

  • Sunday School – Classes for infants through high schoolers provide a safe, nurturing, and faith-filled environment for young people to learn and grow.

  • Family Worship Night (Monthly) – Once a month on a Friday at 6 PM, families gather for dinner, worship, and small group break-off activities such as games, crafts, and hands-on experiences designed for all ages.

  • Youth-Led Service (Twice a Year) – In October (Children’s Sabbath) and May (End of School Year), our children and youth lead every element of worship, sharing their gifts in scripture reading, prayer, music, and message.

  • Vacation Bible School (Summer) – A highlight of our year, VBS brings kids together for fun, faith, music, and activities during the summer months.

Music Ministry

Worship at Bethany is enriched each week with special music. This may include our talented organist or guest musicians and singers who help lead the congregation in praising God through a variety of musical styles.
