Bethany is a place of worship where faith is nurtured, community is strengthened, and life’s most meaningful moments are shared. Our building is designed to be welcoming, functional, and rooted in beauty and tradition.
Our sanctuary is a beautiful and sacred space designed for worship and reflection. One of its most inviting features is our stained glass collection, which tells the story of Christ’s life in vibrant color and detail. These windows surround us with visual reminders of the gospel story each time we gather. The sanctuary provides a peaceful atmosphere for Sunday worship, prayer services, weddings, funerals, and other sacred moments.
Connected directly to the sanctuary, our spacious fellowship hall is where we gather for meals, celebrations, and community events. This large, open space allows us to host church dinners, receptions, meetings, and special gatherings throughout the year. It is a place of laughter, shared meals, and deepened relationships.
Adjacent to the fellowship hall is our fully equipped kitchen. This space allows us to prepare meals for church events, community gatherings, and refreshments for fellowship time following Sunday worship. Whether serving coffee and light refreshments or preparing full meals, our kitchen helps us extend hospitality to all who walk through our doors.
The Bethany Room is a smaller, more intimate space used for Sunday School classes, meetings, Bible studies, and small group gatherings. It provides a quiet and comfortable environment for discussion, learning, and prayer.
We are grateful to share our building with the wider community when appropriate. Over the years, our space has hosted groups such as AA, HOA meetings, and community meals.
We are also honored to help families during important life moments. Our sanctuary and facilities are available for weddings, funerals, celebrations of life, and other special services. We can even assist in arranging beach ceremonies on beautiful Assateague Island for those seeking a coastal setting.
